Posy Frederick

Part I Architectural Assistant
B(Arch)

Since graduating from the Mackintosh School of Architecture, Posy has been working on a variety of high-end residential projects for both private and developer clients. She has joined Cousins & Cousins as a Part I Architectural Assistant and primarily works on larger development schemes.

While studying at Falmouth University, completing an Art and Design diploma, her love for design and detailing influenced her transition from an Art into an Architecture degree. In the last term of her B(Arch) degree, she completed her studies at the Academy of Architecture, Mendrisio. Working in Francis Kéré’s studio, she focused on affordable social housing schemes across Paris. Her project, Place d’Italie, which was selected for the Swiss MAD’16 Exhibition, strongly influenced her interest in seeking rooted responses to the forever-changing social, political and economic pressures which face urban living.

Outside of the office, Posy can often be found on a court of some sort – whether it’s tennis, squash or netball.  She also loves outdoor life and enjoys returning home to her family in Somerset to tend to her beloved goat.
